This may be a silly question but...

There is no such thing as a silly question! A wedding is not something you organise on a regular basis and for many of you reading this, this will be the first time you have ever had to organise one. There will naturally be many questions that you may have regarding Wedding Photography so we have listed some on this page. We can't possibly cover everything however, so if you do have specific questions then please just drop us a line!

Why Adventures?

An adventure is something exciting to be part of and lasts for more than one day. You wedding day itself is a culmination of all of your careful planning and your photography is no different. We work with our couples to plan your photography in advance to ensure that you get the best images on the day.

What sort of planning?

We need to have at least one pre wedding meeting to discuss your photography but it always good to talk. Phone, email, over coffee and cake, however works for you but we need to talk. Chat about photos, share our wedding knowledge (we have planned a wedding ourselves and attended many more) discuss timings of the day and just continue to get to know you. The more we know you the more your personalities will shine in your photos. Pintrest boards, scrap books, magazines.. if you like it save it and we will create  a mood board with you!

How long will our photos take?

We would suggest allowing 45mins - 1hr for your couple photos depending on the location but don't worry, these don't all have to be done at once and we may steal you away for 30 mins here and 10 mins there to grab shots depending on light, time of day etc. For some photos we will have set up the equipment, pop and borrow you for 5 minutes and then let you go again.

Its often nice to take some time out during the wedding to have some time as a couple away from the crowds, to give you some breathing  space and spend some time together before going back into the fray!

We will work with you on your group photo list prior to the day and each "group" takes about 3 - 5 minutes so we would suggest limiting this to no more than 10.

What happens if it rains?

Lets face it, this is the UK and there is a chance it may rain ( but lets stay positive for now!) If this happens we will have a plan B from popping to the venue prior to the big day as part of the planning process, and still get you great photos.

If you do not mind getting wet then we can still get out there!

When should we book?

As soon as you have the date for your wedding you should think about booking to make sure your date is available. We have weddings booked throughout 2018 and into 2019. You also secure the current prices which may increase later in the year for future weddings.

Can we share photo ideas?

Yes - of course! The easiest way of doing this is to create a board on Pintrest we can share and add photos. We have some of our own boards on our site with some images we would love to create too so any adventurous couples have a look!

Do you have insurance?

Yes we are fully insured for both business and public liability.

What equipment do you use?

We use Canon cameras and  range of professional lenses and equipment.

Do I have to buy each image?

Not at all... we shoot, we edit, we give!
